9:30 am - Welcome and Announcements

9:45-10:30 am - Civic Engagement – This session will give you a wholistic look at how you can make change and promote quality of life in your community through both the political and non-political process. Jynette Larshus (City B)

10:30-10:45 am - Break

10:45-11:30 am - Missing and Murdered Indigenous People – An alarming number of Indigenous women and girls go missing or are murdered each year. This session will give you a greater understanding of the epidemic, and shed light on what is currently being done, what still needs to be done and how you can help. Ruth Buffalo (City B)

11:30 am-1:00 pm - Lunch with Annual Meeting (City B)

1:00-1:45 pm - Paid Family Leave Policy – This session will help you gain a greater understating of paid family leave policies and their benefits for both employees and employers. Speaker TBA (City B)

1:45-2:00 pm - Break

2:00-2:45 pm - Panel Discussion on Rural Engagement – Hear from North Dakota women who are navigating the challenges of making change in rural North Dakota.
Panelists: Lizzie Crowston, Lisa Casarez, Dixie Pasicznyk, and Rebecca Grey Bear Moderated by: Kjersten Nelson (City B)

2:45-3:00 pm - Closing announcements/Adjourn

 

Feminists Give Back – We will be helping provide the building blocks women and children need on their journey to independence by collecting items for YWCA Cass Clay. Annual Meeting and Banquet attendees are encouraged to bring items from their needs list and drop them off at the Feminists Give Back booth. Items on the YWCA needs list include:

  1. Baking pans: cookie sheets, cake pans, pizza pans, muffin tins
  2. Kitchen utensils: mixing spoons, measuring cups and spoons, can openers, pizza cutters
  3. Kitchen towels and dish cloths
  4. Mixing bowls
  5. Glass or plastic drinkware
  6. Dish sets: 16 pieces
  7. Silverware sets: 20 pieces
