Amy Ingersoll-Johnson

Bismarck

Amy is a native of Grand Forks, North Dakota who moved to Bismarck after the flood of 97. She is employed with the Department of Human Services as North Dakota’s Aging and Disability Resource LINK. Her work also includes screening reports of abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable adults across the state. She has degrees in Criminal Justice and Human Services and is currently pursuing her degree in Social Work through the University of North Dakota.

Issues Amy is passionate about include diversity, human rights, social justice and women’s equality. She was appointed by the Mayor in 2016 to the Bismarck Human Relations Committee, is active with Bismarck Global Neighbors and currently serves on the North Dakota Planned Parenthood Advisory Committee.
Amy and her husband have a blended family which includes four children and two rescue pets. Amy enjoys music, reading, attending arts and humanities events and volunteering.
